afternoon. Hands down, Cruising Krakow’s City Bike Tour was the
highlight of my stay. Not only did the guide entertain me for over five
hours, he provided plenty of suggestions for the rest of the stay
(e.g., places to eat, visit, play in Krakow) and the following weeks
(e.g., movies, books, and other research).

Mike has extensive knowledge of everything Polish and Krakowian and
comfortably explains the city’s expansive history to those of us who
didn’t have much of a European history education. He navigates the
city in along a safe, relaxing route, allowing the tourists to peddle
among
the locals, enjoying the view, sun, and the fresh air.

No congestion. No uncomfortable seats. No hassle. No unanswered questions.

In fact, here’s a short list of things Mike taught me. Written in a
semi-ambiguous manner…

10. Mike gives homework.
9. Pod means under. Explains why so many of those bars in old town
are named with “pod” something or other. Podgórze means under the
hill.
8. Jadwiga had nothing to fear.
7. I’d construct a wreath of styrofoam and equip it with a motor.
Must ensure my wreath and future wouldn’t get lost somewhere along the
Vistula.
6. The first globe depicting the Americas is in Krakow. I was really
excited about that. But not as excited as….
5. The word for ice cream is lody.
4. Goethe visited Krakow for 3 days in Sept 1790. He gets a plaque.
Mike didn’t seemed too impressed…almost bitter, actually.
3. The dead guy gets out more often than some of those nuns.
2. Beware of the Mongols. Especially if you are playing a horn and
they have a bow and arrow.
1. Wiwulski would want you to pull the fallen Grand Master’s finger.

Not only would I come back to Krakow, I’d come back with friends and
take the tour again. My head, heart, and smile were full. Thanks for
a fantastic afternoon.

I would recommend it without hesitation.

p.s. apologies again for the chain guard.

Best Regards,
